NPP CHAIRMAN THREATENS TO ‘DROP’ ANY PARTY MEMBER WHO TRIES TO DISRUPT PARTY VICTORY.
The Constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party in Offinso South, Mr Amoafo Atuobi Boakye Yiadom a.k.a Chairman Bantama says no room for any party individual to disrupt their election campaign and victory of the NPP Party come general elections.
He is optimistic that his new strategy will help the party to strengthen its effort towards win to maintain the NPP parliamentary seat in Offinso South and garnering more votes for the NPP party in the Ashanti Region.
The constituency chairman spoke to the host of “Time Sunrise” morning show, Kaakyire Kwasi Afari on Friday, 26th June.
He reveals that his rigorous campaign is targeted on all eligible electorates in Offinso south constituency who have attained the age of 18 years and above to register during the upcoming voter’s registration exercise by the Electoral Commission slated on 30th June.
According to him, he will be tempted to drop any individual or campaign team member whose activities seek to downplay the victory of the party’s newly elected first term parliamentary candidate, Dr Isaac Yaw Opoku who beat the incumbent MP, hon Ben Abdalla Banda in the just ended primary.
Mr Bantama also called on all the 3 aspirants with their supporters, party executives and sympathisers to unite so that the task to retain the ruling NPP parliamentary seat in Offinso South would be easy.
When asked about the fate on continuity of projects which is under construction by the losing MP (Ben Abdalla Banda) Chairman Bantama assured that his party with the assigned contractors will complete all projects for the benefits of the constituents.
He added that hon Ben Abdalla Banda is not perturbed by his defeat to shyly abandon all projects under his administrations hence, a needful attention will heed to its completion.
